Waste management is an issue requiring community attention and involvement. This community service initiative was carried out in Kadu Village (Curug District) through a waste management program designed to boost public awareness and participation. Activities included constructing composters for household organic waste, collecting used cooking oil and cardboard, and creating educational signage about waste. The initiative employed a participatory and educational approach, comprising preparation, implementation, and mentoring phases. The collected used cooking oil held economic value, yielding a return of IDR 6,000 per kilogram. Furthermore, utilizing organic waste in composters demonstrated that vegetable and fruit scraps could be processed into fertilizer and liquid leachate for plants. Cardboard collection served as part  of  the  waste  sorting  effort,  while educational boards provided information on waste types and decomposition times. Program sustainability was ensured through collaboration with the local Youth Organization (Karang Taruna), allowing the initiative to continue after the formal service program concluded. This project demonstrates that waste management can be achieved through simple activities that directly involve the community, delivering both environmental benefits and practical utility.
